PlanMyNikah Founding Vendors

Discover the businesses that joined during the PlanMyNikah founding programme.

These businesses joined PlanMyNikah during our founding programme and helped shape a trusted marketplace for Muslim weddings. The Founding Vendor programme recognises the first 150 Muslim wedding businesses — venues, caterers, photographers, wedding fashion, decor and more — approved on PlanMyNikah. Every one of them passed our manual verification before going live, and each carries a permanent Founding Vendor badge on its profile so couples can see who backed the platform first.

Current Founding Vendors

What does the Founding Vendor badge mean for couples?

A Founding Vendor badge tells you two things. First, the business was among the earliest to commit to PlanMyNikah, joining during the founding programme rather than after the marketplace was established. Second, like every vendor on PlanMyNikah, it was manually reviewed before listing: we check business identity, confirm any halal certificates the business declares, and review the listing against our community standards. The badge is a mark of early commitment layered on top of the same verification every listing receives — see how we verify vendors for exactly what our checks cover and what they do not guarantee.

What did Founding Vendors receive?

Founding Vendors receive 12 months of the £59/month Premium plan free: priority placement in search, up to 60 photos per listing, featured category placement eligibility, homepage feature eligibility, analytics, a Premium Vendor badge and a monthly performance report. They also receive a permanent Founding Vendor badge, a Founding Vendor certificate graphic and early access to new features. PlanMyNikah takes no commission on bookings on any plan, and no vendor is ever charged automatically — after the founding year each business chooses a paid plan or moves to the Free plan with its listing staying live.

What is a Founding Vendor?

A Founding Vendor is one of the first 150 businesses approved on PlanMyNikah. Founding Vendors receive 12 months of Premium features free, a permanent Founding Vendor badge on their profile, and a listing on this page. Once all founding spots are claimed, the Founding badge is never offered again.

Are Founding Vendors verified?

Yes. Every Founding Vendor went through the same manual approval as any other PlanMyNikah vendor: we check business identity, confirm any declared halal certificates, and review the listing against our community standards before it goes live.

How does a business become a Founding Vendor?

Start an application while Founding spots remain, then create and verify your account, build your listing and submit it. We begin review only after a complete listing is submitted; Founding perks activate automatically on approval.

Do Founding Vendors pay commission on bookings?

No. PlanMyNikah never takes a percentage of what a vendor earns, on any plan. Vendors pay only for their listing plan (or nothing on Free), so every pound a couple pays a Founding Vendor goes straight to that business.

What happens when a Founding Vendor’s free year ends?

PlanMyNikah contacts each Founding Vendor at least 60 days before their free period ends. The business then chooses a paid plan to keep Premium features, or moves automatically to the Free plan — the listing stays live, it just loses priority placement, featured spots and the Premium badge. No vendor is ever charged automatically.
