Delete your Plan My Nikah account

You can request deletion in the PlanMyNikah app or use this page if you no longer have access to the app. A request starts our verified privacy workflow; it does not mean your account has already been deleted.

  1. Request deletion

    In the app, couples can open Home → Account and privacy and vendors can open the Account tab, then choose Request account deletion.

    Without the app, use our secure contact form, choose Account & billing, and write “account deletion” in the message. You may also contact privacy@planmynikah.co.uk.

  2. Verify the account safely

    We verify that the requester controls the account before we act. We may reply to the account email or ask for an authenticated confirmation. We never delete an account based only on an unverified email address, and this public page never shows request status or personal information.

  3. Cancel any live vendor subscription

    A deletion request does not cancel Stripe billing. If a live vendor subscription exists, cancel it through Vendor Billing and wait for paid access to end. Our deletion processor is blocked until the server confirms there is no recurring paid subscription.

  4. We process and confirm deletion

    We normally respond without undue delay and within one month after receiving the information reasonably needed to verify and process your request. Complex requests can take longer as explained in our Privacy Policy.

What deletion covers

The verified workflow removes or anonymises the Auth identity, account profile, notification and device records, couple planning and collaboration data, Hilal chats and memory, saved vendors, enquiries and messages, private attachments and documents, export archives, and vendor application, account and listing data where applicable.

We minimise or anonymise records that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting or dispute purposes. For example, a transaction record may need to remain without the deleted account’s unnecessary personal data. Read the Privacy Policy for your rights, timing and contact details.
