Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 June 2026

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and PLAN MY GROUP LTD (trading as Plan My Nikah). Please read them before creating an account or listing your business. By using the site you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who we are

Plan My Nikah ("we", "us", "our") is a wedding marketplace that connects Muslim couples with wedding vendors across the United Kingdom who cater for Muslim weddings.

Plan My Nikah is operated by PLAN MY GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17275878, with its registered office at 71 to 75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

2. Your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom (or have a genuine UK wedding requirement) to create an account. By registering you confirm you meet these criteria.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at legal@planmynikah.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from credential disclosure on your part.

Account closure

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We will delete or anonymise your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Vendor listings associated with a closed account will be unpublished.

3. Vendor listing agreement

This section applies to any business that creates or manages a listing on PlanMyNikah ("vendor", "you").

Listing approval

All listings are subject to review and approval by our team before going live. We reserve the right to decline, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, including if the business does not meet our halal-verification standards or applicable law.

Accuracy of information

You warrant that all information in your listing, including business name, contact details, pricing, accreditations (e.g. HMC certificate) and trust badges, is accurate, up to date and not misleading. You must update your listing promptly if any information changes. Misrepresentation of halal credentials or trust badges is grounds for immediate suspension.

Licence to display your content

By submitting photos, text and other content you grant PlanMyNikah a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and promote that content in connection with operating the marketplace (including social media and marketing materials). You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal by contacting us.

Prohibited listing content

You must not include in your listing:

  • False, misleading or unverifiable claims
  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Personal data of individuals without their consent
  • Promotional material for businesses other than your own
  • Pricing that you do not intend to honour

Fees

Basic listings are currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers or features in the future; any fee changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice and will not affect existing free listings retroactively within the notice period.

Enquiry handling

Enquiries sent by couples through the platform are leads, not bookings. You agree to respond to enquiries within a reasonable time (we recommend 48 hours). Repeated non-response may result in a reduction of your listing's prominence or suspension of your account.

4. Reviews policy

Who can leave a review

Reviews collected on PlanMyNikah may only be left by signed-in couples with an eligible enquiry or booking with the relevant vendor. We do not allow anonymous on-platform reviews.

A vendor may also submit up to three existing public Google or Facebook reviews with a direct source link. We verify the source before publication and label these clearly as off-platform reviews. They remain distinct from reviews collected from PlanMyNikah couples.

Review standards

Reviews must be:

  • Based on genuine, first-hand experience
  • Honest and not malicious, defamatory or harassing
  • Free of personal information about named individuals
  • Written in English

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these standards. We do not edit review text; we will either publish or remove a review as submitted.

Vendor right of reply

Vendors on a paid plan may publish a written response to a review from their dashboard at Reviews (planmynikah.co.uk/vendor/reviews). A response is appended publicly beneath the review and can be edited by the vendor. Vendors without in-product access may instead submit a response via legal@planmynikah.co.uk. Responses are subject to the same content standards as reviews and must not contain personal data about the reviewer.

Disputes

If you believe a review is false or defamatory, contact us with evidence. We will investigate and may remove the review if it breaches these standards or applicable law. We are not liable for review content posted by third parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law
  • Scrape, crawl or data-mine the site without our written permission
  • Transmit spam, unsolicited messages or automated requests through the enquiry system
  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, racially or religiously hateful, or otherwise offensive
  • Impersonate another person, business or entity
  • Attempt to circumvent our security measures, rate limits or access controls
  • Use the platform to solicit couples or vendors away to a competing service

Breach of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

6. Intellectual property

All site content, design, trademarks and software owned by or licensed to PlanMyNikah remain our property. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without our written consent. User-submitted content remains owned by the submitter subject to the licence in section 3.

7. Disclaimers

PlanMyNikah is a marketplace and introduction service. We are not a party to any contract between a couple and a vendor. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or halal status of any vendor's services beyond what is stated in our verification policy.

Halal accreditations displayed on listings are based on vendor declarations or third-party certificates as described in our verification policy. We do not carry out unannounced audits or ongoing compliance checks. Always confirm critical requirements directly with the vendor before booking.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanMyNikah's total liability to you in connection with these terms or your use of the platform will not exceed the greater of (a) any fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months or (b) £100.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss arising from a vendor's failure to perform a contract, including any dispute over halal compliance or service quality.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer entitled to bring a claim in your local courts.
