Meet Hilal

The AI Muslim wedding plannerHilal drafts. You decide.

Hilal is the AI planner built into PlanMyNikah. He reads the plan you have given him, works out a sensible next step and shows you where the answer came from. Then he stops, because saving, sending and booking are yours.

Assisted, never autonomous. Allowances and eligibility are shown before any interactive action.

HilalA hilal is the new crescent moon, the sign that a month, and a plan, is beginning. He carries the light. You choose the direction.
  1. You ask, in your own words

English, Urdu, Bengali or Arabic. There is no form to fill in first.

  2. He drafts from what he is allowed to see

Your own figures, plus public vendor listings. Every answer names what it used.

  3. Nothing happens until you press the button

Every draft stays editable. Hilal never saves, sends or books on his own.

For couples

Can we really do 180 guests on £25,000?

Yes, but it works out at £139 a head, so the room and the food decide everything else. Venue and catering usually take 45 to 50% of a budget this size, so plan for £11,000 to £12,500 there.

That leaves roughly £13,000 for outfits, photography, decor and mehndi. Comfortable in Birmingham, and tight the moment you add a separate barat venue.

What he actually does

Help with your next step

Ask Hilal for ideas or help with wording. Some tools also offer suggestions using the details you provide there. Availability depends on the tool and your account.

While you plan

The awkward sums, thought through out loud

Hilal sits inside the free planning tools rather than beside them, so he answers using the figures you have already put in.

Test a change before you commit to it

Ask what happens if thirty more cousins come, or if you move £2,000 from decor into catering. He works the change through the rest of the budget and hands it back as a proposal you can edit or throw away.

Open the budget planner

Keep the checklist honest

He reads the tasks you already have, says which ones are usually booked in the wrong order, and picks the few that actually matter next. Your list only changes if you apply the review.

Open the checklist

Build the day, then stress test it

Sequence the nikah, the photos, the travel and the walima with buffers that reflect real distances. Then ask what a twenty minute late start does to the evening, before it does it to you.

See the planning tools

Seat the room without the arguments

Tell him who belongs together and who is best kept a few tables apart. He proposes an arrangement against your floor plan and explains why each table looks the way it does.

When you are choosing vendors

Compare like with like, and ask better questions

On the marketplace side Hilal works from approved public listing fields, so a suggestion can always point at the thing it came from.

Turn a vague feeling into a search

Describe what you want in your own words and he turns it into filters you can see and change. Save the search and he watches it for new listings that fit.

Search vendors

Show him the look instead of describing it

Upload the saved screenshots and Pinterest images you have been collecting. He reads the palette, the styling and the setting, then points you at listings that publicly match.

Try it on the marketplace

Write the awkward first message

He drafts an enquiry that includes the details vendors always have to ask for anyway: date, guest count, what is halal-critical, what you have not decided yet. You read it, change it, and send it yourself.

Browse the marketplace

Read the quotes properly

Drop in the PDFs and he lines up what is actually included, what is charged separately and where two quotes are not comparing the same thing. Then he helps you prepare the questions worth asking.

When the day gets close

The bit where everything happens at once

The last few weeks are where a plan usually falls over. These are the surfaces built for that stretch.

One screen that tells you the truth

Your dashboard opens with a plain briefing of what is behind, what is unconfirmed and what is quietly fine. If it has gone badly wrong, Rescue Mode works out the shortest route back.

Start planning free

Guest numbers that survive contact with families

He tidies the list, spots the duplicates and the missing sides, and turns the final count into catering numbers you can actually give a caterer.

Open the guest list

Give the family somewhere to disagree

Share a board, collect the opinions in one place and let him summarise where everyone actually stands. Better than fourteen messages in a group chat at midnight.

See family planning

Stop answering the same guest question

Your wedding website can answer parking, dress code, timings and directions on your behalf, using only what you published there. You write the updates; he handles the repetition.

A little help with the wording

Share the text you want help with in vendor chat. Hilal can suggest changes; you review the wording and decide what to use.

Improve listing wording

Paste your description and the details you want couples to know. Ask Hilal to make the wording clearer, then edit it before updating your listing.

Help write a reply

Share the enquiry and the details you want to include. Hilal helps draft a reply for you to check, copy and send through your inbox.

Get help writing a reply

Say it out loud instead of typing it

Voice-to-Plan lets eligible signed-in couples record a planning note in supported browsers, read the transcript back and confirm anything that should change. The audio and the transcript are not kept afterwards, and typing always works.

Four languages, including right to left

Family invitations, join screens and the main board controls work in English, Urdu, Bengali and Arabic. Anything you have written yourself stays exactly as you wrote it unless somebody asks for a translation to review.

He knows when Ramadan lands

Date fields show a plain note when a date falls near Ramadan or Eid, because it changes how families travel, fast and cater. It is a practical prompt rather than a ruling, and local moon sighting is still what counts.

These appear where your account, plan, allowance and workflow are eligible, and the product tells you before an action is counted. If Hilal is having a bad day, the underlying figures do not change and the ordinary form, inbox or tool is still there.

For vendors

Help writing a reply, never sent for you

Share the enquiry and the details you want to include. Hilal suggests wording for you to review. You check the price and availability, then send the reply yourself.

Example reply outlineFour points to considerExample
  • Confirm the requested date and the 180 guest count back to her.
  • Include the price, staff and service area you have supplied and checked.
  • Say what is included, and what gets charged separately.
  • Invite her to look at the options. Do not imply the date is being held.
Hilal has not sent anything. Nothing here promises the date is held.

This scripted example uses invented enquiry text and business details supplied for the demo. It does not read an inbox, listing or diary.

Where the line sits

Four boundaries that never move

An assistant is only worth having if you know exactly where it stops. Hilal’s limits are the same on every screen, whether you notice them or not.

Hilal helps with planning, not rulings. For religious questions speak to a scholar you trust, and for legal or financial decisions, a qualified professional.

You confirm every action

Hilal can prepare a save, an enquiry or a reply. Pressing the button is always a person’s job.

Answers show their working

Each suggestion names the planning facts or public listing fields behind it. What is unknown stays unknown.

Your data stays in its lane

Private account context only reaches the signed-in workflow authorised for it. This page uses none of it.

The manual route never closes

If Hilal is unavailable, or you would rather not use him, every form, tool and inbox works exactly as before.

Hilal FAQ

The questions worth asking before you use one

Short version: Hilal helps with the planning, and people still own the facts, the decisions and the conversations.

What is Hilal?

Hilal is the AI planning companion built into PlanMyNikah for Muslim weddings. He takes the planning or marketplace information he is allowed to see and turns it into a clear next step, and you stay the one who decides what actually happens.

Is Hilal an AI wedding planner?

Yes. Hilal uses AI to explain, organise and draft, working alongside PlanMyNikah tools that calculate the same way every time and approved marketplace data. He is an assistant, not an autonomous planner, a vendor or a booking service.

What can Hilal help couples with?

He can help you think through a budget, a checklist, the wedding day timeline, seating, guest numbers, a vendor search and what to do next. Eligible signed-in tools use the planning facts you have already saved, and any change he proposes stays editable until you apply it.

What can Hilal help vendors with?

In vendor chat, share your listing description or enquiry text and ask for help with the wording. Hilal can suggest a reply for you to review, copy and send yourself. He does not automatically read the listing or enquiry you have open.

Is Hilal free?

The demonstration on this page and the manual PlanMyNikah tools are free. Interactive Hilal requests use the AI allowance shown in the product, which varies by account, plan and workflow, and you are told before an action is counted.

How does Hilal use personal information?

He only receives what the specific signed-in workflow is authorised to give him. The demonstration on this page uses invented data and reads no account at all. Our Privacy Policy explains the processing and your controls in more detail.

Can I rely on Hilal for religious, legal or financial advice?

No. Hilal helps with practical planning, not religious rulings or professional legal or financial advice. Take religious questions to a scholar you trust, and speak to a qualified professional where money or contracts are involved.

How are Hilal suggestions generated?

Each workflow combines the planning context it is allowed to use with fixed calculations or eligible marketplace fields. Hilal names that basis where the surface supports it, and anything genuinely unknown should be left unknown rather than invented.

How can I report a poor or incorrect Hilal answer?

Use the feedback control shown beside a Hilal answer, or contact PlanMyNikah support. Please do not act on a suggestion that looks wrong. Carry on with the manual workflow while the team looks at it.

Read the full Privacy Policy or contact support if your question is not covered here.

Try him on your own plan

The free tools work perfectly well without Hilal, and Hilal works better once your figures are in them. Start with either.
